Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
• Orthopedic experience as an OR RN preferred
• Scrub and Circulating experience preferred
• Experience with electronic medical record systems (EPIC) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting
• Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain compliance with established standards
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain surgical instruments and equipment

Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing; housing costs in the surrounding areas may be high. Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation). No time off requests will be accepted.
