Located in Springfield, the 70+ employee facility (100,000+ sq. ft.) is one of Hroux-Devtek's centers of excellence for the manufacturing of medium to large complex landing gear and titanium components. As part of the Central Division you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs such as the Boeing 777 and Embraer E-2, and important military programs as F-18, F-35, C-17 and C-130. Main Responsibilities: Machine Control which includes pull and send programs; tool change; trouble shooting; entering tool and D-Comp offsets; M.D.I. Understanding setup sheets, tool lists and Operational Detail Sheets Calculating Work Offsets/Indicating Understanding program/D-Comps Tightening and clamping pressures (i.e. 'Free State' condition and part clamped maintaining free state) Cutting pressures/Boring Bar adjustments; spring pass; test cut bore Tape proving new and modified programs, anticipating what the machine will do before it cuts Preventive maintenance 6-S Activities Pre-start up inspections which incorporate Health & Safety awareness Running a combined number of machines simultaneously in a safe and effective manner. (Combo) Other duties as assigned Adhering at all times to company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements Applications: CNC Lathes, CNC Gap Lathes, Millturns, CNC Mills (3, 4 & 5 axis), CNC Bridge Mills and CNC Boring Mills Fanuc (Mitsui Seiki, Toyoda, Megas, Mori Seiki), Mazatrol (Mazak), Okuma and Tosnuc (Toshiba) controls Forefront of the technology using FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System) for our most critical programs and dynamic probing Our Ideal Candidate: Ability to produce a high quality part in a safe, productive and efficient manner Ability to interact with co-workers in a productive and positive manner Work Culture and Environment: Are you known as an innovation driver?
