Medical Assistant (CMA) The Medical Assistant administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, maintains inventory of appropriate supplies, and ensures safe and efficient patient flow at the Hagerstown Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Practice. Location 12916 Conamar Dr. Hagerstown, MD 21742 Shift Non‑exempt - Full‑time - 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. Salary Range Minimum $17.82/hour – Maximum $29.43/hour. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program preferred. Certified Medical Assistant required: successful completion of the AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA(NCCT), RCMAS(NCMA), CCMA(NHA) or RMA (American Allied Health). Certification required within 3 months of hire. Five or more years of specific applicable MA experience in primary medical care may be substituted for formal training program provided eligibility for the RMA (American Medical Technologists) exam. Valid CPR certification required upon hire, with recertification every two years. Two years’ experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.
