Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH. This is a great opportunity for RNs who thrive in rural or small facility settings and are comfortable handling a wide range of emergency cases in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with acute and critical conditions

• Monitor patient status and administer medications/treatments as prescribed

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience (Required)

• Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) – Non-negotiable

• Experience in rural or small healthcare facilities (Required)

• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact License (must be in-hand at submission)

• Active AHA Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• Own vehicle required for assignment

Highly Preferred:

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
