Activities Associate Flex/PRN

Overview Location: Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as an Activities Associate (Intermissions Associate). In this role, you can bring your gift of compassion to our residents and family members in our intermissions program, who deal with the challenges of dementia. Compensation: commensurate with experience, range $15.00- $19.00. How You Will Make An Impact Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident Design and implement creative programming Assist in program operation by leading activities and transport residents to and from programs Engage in mealtime preparations Complete daily attendance records Attend in-services and other training to increase job knowledge and skills in working with participants What You Will Need Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia Programming/activity experience is preferred Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings/weekends Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
