This role puts you at the center of delivering a secure, resilient cutting‑edge ground infrastructure housing mission critical space-based applications. You will shape how national security missions are executed from space to ground using modern deployment approaches and emerging technologies.This position will be onsite at a CACI facility in Sterling, VA.Responsibilities:· Lead multi-disciplined infrastructure team of approximately 15 engineersEnsure optimal performance, scalability, and security of servicesDevelop and maintain governance policies and best practicesExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid understanding of Automated Infrastructure configuration managementExperience with infrastructure troubleshooting and resolutionUnderstanding in the design, implementation, procurement, tradecraft, or maintenance of various layers of network infrastructureProvide escalation support and communicate incident status to management and customersCollaborate with internal teams, external service providers, and customersEnsure compliance with government IT and security policies, including cross‑security domain requirements.Qualifications:Required:Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, network architecture, and development environments.Proven experience with Linux system administration.Experience with information security and compliance with government policies.Proficiency in cloud platformsStrong knowledge of network protocols and security (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesCISSP or Security+ certification (or comparable information security certification)Desired:Full systems lifecycle experienceExperience with DevOps processes and toolsThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
