Seasonal Build Manager – The Great Pumpkin TrailLocation: Wyoming, MNSeasonal Contract Position: August through November (Potential for full time year round for right candidate)The Great Pumpkin Trail is looking for a highly organized, hands-on leader to oversee the full seasonal build, setup, operations support, and teardown of one of Minnesota's largest immersive fall attractions.This is not a desk job. This role is for someone who can lead crews, solve problems fast, stay organized under pressure, and physically help bring a large-scale seasonal event to life from the ground up.The Build Manager will oversee the installation and removal of the attraction across a 4 to 6 week setup period, manage seasonal setup crews, coordinate logistics, maintain organization of inventory and décor elements, and help ensure the attraction is fully operational and guest-ready on schedule.Position Responsibilities:Hire, train, schedule, and oversee seasonal setup and teardown crewsLead day-to-day installation and removal of attraction elementsOversee setup of pumpkins, lighting, décor, pathways, signage, photo ops, props, and scenic elementsCoordinate wiring and placement of lighting and powered elementsOperate or oversee operation of utility vehicles, lifts, trailers, and equipmentMaintain organization of storage areas, inventory, props, and décor throughout the seasonWork alongside teams in a fast-paced outdoor environmentDelegate tasks effectively while maintaining high standards and timelinesTroubleshoot setup issues and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesAssist with operational maintenance and attraction support during the event season as neededEnsure safe working practices across all setup and teardown operationsRequirements:Must be 18 years or olderPrevious leadership or project management experience preferredComfortable leading crews in physically demanding outdoor workAbility to lift, move, and carry heavy items throughout the workdayComfortable working on ladders, lifts, and uneven outdoor terrainExperience with tools, equipment, trailers, utility vehicles, or scenic/event builds is strongly preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsReliable transportation to and from Wyoming, MNAbility to work long hours, weekends, and flexible schedules during peak build periodsMust work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude with teamsIdeal Candidate:This role is ideal for someone with experience in:Event productionConstruction or scenic buildsTheme parks or attractionsHaunted attractionsFestival or live event setupWarehouse/logistics managementLarge-scale décor installationYou should be someone who enjoys building things, leading teams, staying organized, and seeing a massive project come together from start to finish.Schedule:Contract runs approximately August through November (potential full time year round if right candidate).Setup period: 4 to 6 weeksIncludes teardown following the event seasonHours will vary and increase during peak setup and teardown periodsPay: Competitive pay based on experience.
