Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A high-volume mail order pharmacy in Cave Creek, AZ seeks a skilled Pharmacist for a 13-week contract focusing on checking and verifying medications. The role demands flexibility in shifts, including 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and possible Saturday coverage, with a start date as soon as possible.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately counting, dispensing, and labeling medications
- Checking and verifying prescriptions to ensure safety and accuracy
- Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting their performance
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment in line with Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations
