Apps/OCI DBA Consultant

Job Duties:· Responsible for the support of EBS application and other Oracle databases.· Provides input for direction and focus to improve stability and maintain continued growth of the database environments.· Responsible for Creating and Administering OCI Instances.· Creating scripts to manage security features,patching cloud instances.· Provides support services to EBS application and other databases through coordinating, diagnosing and troubleshooting.· Responsible for the documentation of procedures and the monitoring of critical business technology.· Ensure solutions optimize and protect the technology landscape and achieve desired ROI.· Proactively validate conclusions associated with planning, gathering and documentation of tactical technical requirements for assigned segments of the IT landscape.· Ensure quality delivery of solutions that are contemporary and in accordance with Industry Best Practices.· Ensures accuracy and completeness of data across the landscape.· Maintains security and integrity controls within Oracle Apps and DB Landscape. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.· Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.· Accountable for meeting own target which will impact the discipline· The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list of all tasks.· Additional tasks and duties may be assigned from time to time as necessitated by business needs· Adapt style and uses persuasion in delivering messages· Issues may be complex and audience perspectives will be divergent· Information is non-routine in nature· Develops recommendations to sell ideas or services· Frequently advises others on complex matters· Trained in OCI.Basci qualifications: · Certification with Oracle: OCP or OCA· Travel: Occasional travel to client site.· Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience1-3 years DBA Database Administrator-Oracle EBS-Application Administrator-ConsultingPosting Date:Department: -
