DC Associate

DC Associate Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a DC Associate to be a vital part of our warehouse. This role involves picking, packing, and staging parts, utilizing hand‑held RF scanners, and moving boxes throughout the distribution center. The DC Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse. Responsibilities Marks pallets with identifying store information. Uses the computer/RF to enter records. Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.). Uses voice picking system. Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free. Uses a handheld RF device. Consistent, reliable attendance. Other related duties as assigned. Education and Minimum Requirements High school/secondary school diploma, GED, or homeschool equivalency. At least 18 years of age. Eligible to work in the country. Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills Prior warehouse training or experience. Physical/Work Environment Expectations The physical demands include standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching with arms, talking and hearing; frequently required to stop, kneel, crouch, sit, climb, balance; lifting up to 25, 50, or 100 pounds.
