Job Summary:

Seeking a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing nuclear medicine techniques. The role involves operating specialized equipment and ensuring quality imaging for accurate patient diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct nuclear medicine procedures following established protocols and safety procedures.
  
  
• 
  Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients accurately and safely.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient condition throughout the imaging process, providing necessary care and support.
  
  
• 
  Maintain detailed records of procedures, supplies, and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine issued by the ARRT or NMTCB.
  
  
• 
  Possess a valid license as a nuclear medicine technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  
  
• 
  Have at least one year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate relevant experience with nuclear medicine equipment and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Completion of an appropriate radiologic technologist training program, including military training if applicable.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
