This position is empowered by the Maintenance Supervisor to build and maintain a collaborative work environment while consistently delivering the highest quality of customer service. What You'll Do Responsible for light maintenance such as trashing vacant apartments and removing carpet Responsible for light landscaping duties (weeding, watering, planting flowers) Routinely inspects and maintains buildings and property to ensure the appearance of the community is consistent with company standards and applicable laws Assist Maintenance staff in ensuring Make Ready Units are consistent with basic principles of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, appliances, keys, and locks Snow removal when needed Provides high quality customer service according to GCI’s customer service principles to maximize resident retention Requirements General Maintenance experience/knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical preferred Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with the ability to build and maintain relationships Demonstrate thoroughness, self‑motivation, and organization when accomplishing tasks Ability to work a non‑traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and on‑call hours as needed Education, Licenses, and Certifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver’s License Required Still Undecided?
