Staff Accountant

Job Description:

Title: Staff Accountant
Reports To: Controller
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Exempt ( ) Non-Exempt ( x ) 5 days per week, fully on-site role
This position is designed to provide general accounting support including monthly closing, financial statement preparation and bank account reconciliation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly closing entries and accruals
- Prepare or review various GL reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset accounting records
- Prepare and complete monthly and annual financial reports in a timely manner
- Reconcile and analyze intercompany transactions
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process weekly invoices
- Prepare bank deposits as required

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have solid accounting theory background
• Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in related field
• Requires strong computer literacy skills, advanced Excel skills and competency in basic Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must know how to set priorities to meet deadlines
• Must be accurate and detail oriented
• Must have initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivation
• Timberline and Sage fixed asset software experience preferred

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The pay scale for this position is $36.00-$40.00 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. The Company reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
