Mitigation Project Manager

Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the construction/ restoration industry, is hiring a Mitigation Project Manager/ Estimator for a leading commercial disaster restoration company located in San Francisco, CA.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary: $80,000-$90,000 (DOE)

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for restoration projects by providing estimating the scope and cost of the loss; direction and coordination of all field activities related to the mitigation teams and any coordinated subcontracts; and managing the project schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate commercial water, fire, asbestos, mold/environmental, biohazard restoration projects
• Negotiate restoration services and some insurance claim settlements
• Plan, organize, lead and manage crews on projects from start to finish
• Manage approved subcontractors
• Establish, maintain, and build client relationships through daily communication and site visits
• Serve on the emergency response team and dispatch
• Partner with teammate every day
• Deliver accurate invoices and support collection efforts
• Attend all appropriate company and team meetings
• Attend regular company sponsored training sessions
• Additional duties required as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience as a project manager, preferably in the restoration industry
• Preferred restoration certifications including asbestos, lead and mold
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules
• Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)
• Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record
