Position: CNC Programmer Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: 1st Shift & Remote SJ Mobilita is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join one of our established aerospace manufacturing clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled programming professional who enjoys developing efficient machining programs, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and supporting precision production. Key Responsibilities • Create, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling operations • Program custom components and tooling for production • Develop machining methods and tooling strategies • Set up and support CNC milling machines during production • Troubleshoot and validate CNC programs on production equipment • Modify programs based on engineering changes and product revisions • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams • Maintain programming documentation and revision control • Support process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality • Ensure programs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements Required Qualifications • Associate’s Degree preferred in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology • 5+ years of CNC Programming experience • Strong experience with CNC milling machines • Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication and teamwork skills ⭐ Preferred Experience • CATIA experience • Epicor ERP experience • Aerospace manufacturing experience • Experience with complex precision-machined components • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
