Automotive Mechanic

Physical Requirements Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment. Must be able to lift and move work‑related items up to 50 pounds. Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head‑neck‑shoulders as needed. Job Duties & Requirements Perform Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil change. Inspect and service fluids, filters, lights, wipers, tires, and other minor services. Test, diagnose, and repair engines, brakes, suspensions, tires, and drivetrains. Test, diagnose, and repair OBDII computer and electrical systems. Once certified, eligible for advancement opportunities and training in other positions (Service Advisor and Supervisor‑Key Holder). Qualifications Previous experience required with a minimum of 1‑year working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube. ASE certification is a plus. Must have experience inspecting, servicing, and repairing most major automotive systems. Benefits & Perks Starting rate of pay up to $17 per hour + bonus. 40 hours plus overtime available.
