Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience. • Experience with Epic is required. • Trauma Level 1 experience is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System. Additional Details: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: Cath lab/STEMI and interventional scrub experience required. Minimum of one year of EP experience required. High-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab experience needed to be successful in the procedural area. Required Credentials: Must pass the Relias EKG exam. Special Requests: No local candidates accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility. Unit Details: Adult patient population. Patient population includes AMI, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, V-Tach, endocarditis, Afib, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome. RN circulator needed in the diagnostic and interventional PCI environment. Provides conscious sedation under the direction of the attending, hands off sterile supplies, assesses vitals, and documents in Epic. Likely cross-trains to run hemodynamics in the monitor tech role. Uses Impella and IABP. Shift & Scheduling: Rotating shifts: 0700-1730 and 1000-2030 close as needed. Every other weekend. Call required: rotating call as needed, 1-2 night/week, every 2-4th weekend, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Can change as needed per unit needs. RTO: No more than 7 days. Floating Requirements: Float within service line. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
