Junior Payroll Purser

The Junior Payroll Purser is a shipboard finance position within Shipboard Financial Operations onboard Celebrity Cruises ships, reporting to the Administration Purser – Payroll and Time & Attendance, and plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end crew payroll process and related financial services. This position assists with the calculation, verification, and balancing of payroll components including salaries, gratuities, supplemental pay, commissions, and overtime, while researching discrepancies, preparing documentation, and supporting payroll audits. The Junior Payroll Purser also helps administer the timekeeping system, validates gratuity and departmental supplemental uploads, and manages shipboard crew receivables to ensure timely payments.
