Position: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in City, State . The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform a full range of ultrasound procedures.
• Produce quality diagnostic images for evaluation by medical staff.
• Process films and prepare records of services performed.
• Make adjustments to equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Transport patients to and from the department efficiently.
• Manage scheduled patient appointments and handle unscheduled patient exams as needed.

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Registered Medical Sonographer certification from ARDMS.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting.

Shift Information

This position operates on a Night 4x10-hour schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend rotation and on-call duties are required, contingent on patient census.

Additional Information

• Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies is required.
• Holidays observed include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• Maximum request for time off is 7 days per contract.
• Work history verification for the past 7 years is mandatory.
