Position Highlights Full‑time: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM High‑volume production environment Use of two computer monitors for documentation Full benefits: PTO, health, vision, dental insurance, 401(k) savings plan and tuition assistance Job Responsibilities Receive and process patient health information requests in accordance with company and facility policies. Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information. Use company and facility software to manage patient records. Follow the company’s and customer facilities’ Code of Conduct and policies. Assist with additional duties as required. Apply medical privacy regulations consistently to safeguard against unauthorized disclosure. Prepare new patient charts by gathering documents from paper or electronic health record sources. Assemble medical records in standard order, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Create digital images of paperwork for the electronic medical record. Respond to internal and external requests for patient records, retrieve and transmit them appropriately. Answer inbound and outbound calls and assist patient walk‑ins. Perform administrative duties such as handling faxes, opening mail and data entry. Meet productivity expectations outlined at the specific site. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Ability to commute between locations as needed. Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons. Basic computer proficiency. Comfortable using phones, fax machine, printers and other general office equipment. Professional verbal and written communication skills in English. Detail and quality oriented with respect to accurate and compliant medical records. Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities. Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills. Fast‑paced work style. Experience in a healthcare environment. Previous production/metric‑based work experience. Ability to build relationships with on‑site clients and customers. Open to providing process improvement suggestions and feedback. Pay Estimated base pay range per hour: $15 – $15 USD. To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many clients require post‑offer health screenings and proof of/voluntary completion of vaccinations such as flu shot, Tdap, COVID‑19, etc. Exemptions may be available for disability, medical contraindications, pregnancy or religion on a case‑by‑case basis.
