Position: Ultrasound Technologist

Schedule:

Day Shift: 4/10s, block shift. 7:30am - 6pm.
Do have a swing shift 1:30pm - midnight Monday - Friday
Rotating weekends/rotating call
Weekends - Saturday/Sunday: 6pm - 7am
Call - 1 or 2 nights a week midnight - 6am
Nothing formally overnight but do offer accommodation if overnight call
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediate Need - ASAP

Experience:

2 - 5 years of Ultrasound Experience (Breast Imagining experience)
Position Details:

Covers breast imaging
General ultrasound
Limited procedures - thyroid and lymph node biopsies, drain placements, OBGYN
Out of Briner and General DI Ultrasound
Truckee
Patient volumes: 8 - 10 -patients/day
Emergency ultrasound - all hours work with the ER
7 Radiologists
Education

Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
ARDMS
Experience

Experience in the acute care hospital setting performing sonography in the specialties of obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, small parts and guidance procedures
Advanced cross-sectional anatomy, pathophysiology and its effect on normal anatomy.
Technical knowledge of operation of sophisticated ultrasound equipment including duplex doppler, color flow, 2D, 3D & The Client imaging and post processing.
