Forklift Operator - Warehouse AssociateWe are seeking several Warehouse Associates to join our distribution center team. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing merchandise and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the items processed.ResponsibilitiesMove incoming or outgoing merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand.Check, verify, and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise has been received and that merchandise is as ordered and not damaged or defective.Enter data into remote data terminals.Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.Replenish pick areas as identified by replenishment reports and various requests for merchandise.Fill merchandise orders from stores by selecting and moving merchandise from pick slot to conveyor.Load outgoing merchandise from conveyor and/or four-wheel truck into trailer.Report damages and/or vendor compliance issues to supervisor.Collaborate with supervisor to resolve problems or discrepancies.Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.SkillsGeneral labor experience.Packing skills.Experience with four-wheel trucks.Material handling expertise.Forklift operation.Proficiency with cherry pickers.Additional Skills & QualificationsContinuous lifting of merchandise up to 65 pounds on a regular basis, and occasional team lifting of merchandise up to 85 pounds.Ability to walk continuously, including long distances and up and down stairs.Capability to work at heights up to 30 feet above ground.Continuous standing, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and pushing and pulling using hands and/or arms on a repetitive basis above and below shoulder level.Willingness to work continuously up to 12 hours.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walton, KY.The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
