Job TitleCore competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Education:Safety-mindedUnderstanding of IATF quality systems and processes within department to ensure company and customer standards are metStrong project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with all team members and external partiesProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of JDE, FileHold and ADP software packages desiredProper handling of confidential and sensitive informationMust be result-drivenStrong interpersonal skillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferredExperience with Domestic and Japanese OEMs preferredMust be highly organized and have strong planning skillsMust be self-motivated with personal initiative, not easily dissuaded by difficult customer demands.Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and balance prioritiesFamiliarity with PPAP, PFMEA, etc.Experience with a Global Product Database System (i.e. Tactis) is preferredKnowledge of defects in safety-critical partsExperience with customer portals including Ford Motor Company preferredMajor Accountabilities:Prioritize safety and quality standards and expectationsMust demonstrate behaviors that support TGFS' mission, vision, and core valuesSupport Hoshin activities for TGFS annually & actively participate in task force activitiesWork with all departments and maintain communication among various groupsFollow TG policies and procedure adherenceEnsure training requirements are met on-timeManage training requirements to ensure timely completionFollow Stop, Call, Wait (SCW)Organize and lead regular meetings with assigned Program Teams to discuss program timing, delays or issues, recovery and countermeasure activity and future plansPerform Gateway meetings with senior leadership for concurrence and approval to proceed with new programs. Understand the milestones of each Gate in the launch process to ensure a successful handoff to productionPrepare information for quoting packages in a timely mannerEstablish and maintains effective relationships with customers for new programsCoordinate and ensure that capital equipment, tooling, product testing and other required items are on time to support program timingCoordinate with Corporate sales personnel as required ensuring a cost-effective launchAct as a liaison (along with Corporate Purchasing) for external suppliers regarding program timing, deliveries, delays, etc.Maintain electronic program folders with all program specific informationAny additional duties as assigned by managerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
