Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Emergency Room NurseProvides immediate, comprehensive care to patients in the emergency room setting, assessing, stabilizing, and managing a variety of medical conditions. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality urgent care in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Assess patients upon arrival to determine severity of condition and prioritize care based on acuity.Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to ER protocols and physician orders.Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergencies, and perform advanced life support when necessary.Document patient care accurately using electronic health records and communicate effectively with staff and patients.Assist in procedures such as wound management, IV placements, and intubations.Float within scope to meet departmental needs and support other units as required.Qualifications:Valid South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) and every other weekend.Epic electronic health record experience preferred.Strong skills in emergency assessment, rapid decision-making, and trauma care.Benefits & Growth:Access to ongoing training and certifications to advance clinical expertise.Opportunities to work in a busy, supportive environment with flexible scheduling options.Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral ProgramChoosing TactStaff means partnering with a team that understands the unique demands and rewards of Emergency Room.
