Position Overview

Responsibilities Include

• Executing diverse ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Fostering patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and empathetic explanations
• Collaborating with radiologists and physicians to produce top-grade diagnostic images
• Managing imaging equipment and promptly reporting any technical issues
• Maintaining accurate documentation and patient records within the electronic health system
• Continuing education in ultrasound imaging advancements and best practices

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification advantageous
