The Direct Care Worker will support individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation, following all care plans and safety protocols. Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, monitoring health and behaviors, documenting services provided, and promptly reporting changes in condition to supervisors. The role also involves providing companionship, encouraging social and recreational engagement, helping with housekeeping tasks, and transporting or accompanying individuals to appointments or community activities as needed. The Direct Care Worker will collaborate with other team members, maintain a clean and safe environment, and uphold all organizational, state, and federal regulations.\nQualifications\n\n\n Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, respectful direct care and support with daily living activities.\n Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals, families, and team members.\n Capacity to follow care plans, document services accurately, and adhere to safety, health, and confidentiality guidelines.\n Physical ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility support, and to remain active throughout the shift.\n High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in direct care, human services, or related fields is beneficial.\n Reliable transportation for on-site work in Mocksville, NC and potential client appointments or outings.\n Willingness to complete required training, including first aid/CPR and any state-mandated certifications.\n Ability to pass background checks and meet all regulatory employment requirements.\n
