ID: 64367898 Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Description: -Nashville General is moving towards an LDRP model whereas NICU travelers will be assisting with cross-training efforts and providing coverage, for Delivery/MB, while training takes place. This will be discussed during the interview.- Must have experience with L&D and the willingness to float to other units. If needed, travelers can be floated to any unit of the hospital as a sitter. -First week of orientation will be 7a-7p (3x12s)-Travelers must be comfortable with the prison population. This is a public hospital where there is a chance that the travelers will be caring for a incarcerated patient.-Req Certs: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NRP and STABLEAWHONN Advanced or Intermediate is highly preferred.-1 year exp required-1st time travelers and locals accepted at the same rate. Combined NICU and well-baby nursery. Special Procedures/Unit Details : For experienced travelers, experience attending deliveries preferred. If they don't have experience doing this, they must be willing to be trained for it at the facility.First time travelers are required to have strong experience as the baby nurse at deliveries.Experience with NICU II and well-baby nursery requiredThere are two nurses on duty at any given time. The nurse attending deliveries must be comfortable being the only caregiver in the event of an emergency while the other nurse cares for babies in the nursery. Special Equipment : Req Certs: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NRP and STABLE. AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate is highly preferred. #Tier3 Travel Compliance Submission Requirements Must submit using the Qualivis Submission Form, including rate, start date, shift, and all RTO. Any RTO not included at time of submission will not be approved. Valid TN state license or compact multi-state license required at time of submission. Current Nursys report required; license must be active. No pending licenses accepted. All certifications must be included in the submission packet; some roles may allow pending certifications if they can be obtained prior to start (will be advised in JD). Compliance Deadlines HealthStream approvals are due 12 days prior to start. All other compliance requirements are due the Wednesday prior to start. Failure to meet compliance deadlines may result in delay to the next orientation or cancellation. Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing.
