Drywall Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is currently seeking a Project Manager to join a client in the commercial interiors construction industry in Columbia, SC. This individual will oversee drywall, metal framing, ceiling, and interior finish projects throughout the Columbia office territory. They will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while ensuring projects are executed successfully. The Project Manager will attend weekly project meetings and perform site visits one to two times per week, with the potential to be onsite full-time based on project requirements. The position will primarily focus on operations and project management while supporting estimating efforts when needed. This individual must be capable of operating independently and contributing immediately with minimal onboarding. Travel accommodations will be provided when necessary.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of drywall, metal framing, and interior finishes experience

○ Strong drywall and metal stud framing background in Project Management

• Ability to manage projects independently with minimal training

• Strong understanding of field operations and installation methods

• Experience leading commercial construction projects

• Direct experience working for a drywall/interiors contractor preferred

• Ability to attend project meetings and conduct site visits as needed

• Experience with QuickBid, OST (On-Screen Takeoff), Buzzbid etc. • Ceiling experience

• Estimating experience

• Experience across Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Orangeburg, Augusta, and Greenville/Spartanburg markets
