The Kane County Cougars are looking for friendly, reliable, and high-energy individuals to join our hospitality team as Picnic Servers. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing top-tier food and beverage service to guests in our group picnic and catered hospitality areas. If you enjoy working outdoors, interacting with fans, and being part of the game day excitement, this is the job for you!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Greet guests in picnic and catered hospitality areas with a welcoming and professional attitude.
• Set up food and beverage stations prior to gates opening.
• Serve buffet-style meals, beverages, and/or snacks to guests in assigned areas.
• Refill food and drink items as needed and monitor presentation and cleanliness.
• Clear plates, cups, and trash throughout the service period to maintain a tidy environment.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, catering staff, and supervisors for timely service.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and assist with guest needs.
• Help with clean-up, tear-down, and resetting of areas for future events.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must be at least 15 years of age.
• Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; frequent bending, reaching, and lifting; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the season.
