Emergency Room Nurses (RN) are responsible to treat a variety of injuries and illness brought into the Emergency Room. They specialize in rapid assessment and treatment when every second counts, particularly during the initial phase of acute illness. An Emergency Room Nurse must take measures to stabilize a patient's condition by administering medication, intubation, drawing blood and/or starting IV's.

Cancellation Policy: Assignment Cancellation by Supplier or Associate Provider: (i) Prior to the time an Associate Provider begins their assignment, if Supplier or Associate Provider cancels the assignment for any reason, Supplier must provide a minimum of fourteen (14) days advance notice prior to the Associate Provider's report date. In the event Supplier fails to provide at least 14 days notice, Supplier shall at AMN's option either: (a) Provide a qualified replacement that is available to be on-site at Client's facility by the original report date; or (b) Credit AMN for forty hours (40) hours at such Associate Provider's regular hourly rate. (ii) Once an Associate Provider has begun their assignment, if Supplier or Associate Provider cancels any remaining time left on the assignment, Supplier shall provide a qualified replacement within seven (7) days following the notification date or credit AMN for forty (40) hours at such Associate Provider's regular hourly rate.

J. Removal of Associate Providers from Assignment, Postponement and No-Shows. (1) Travel and Local Contract Associate Provider Cancellations. Client or AMN may immediately terminate an assignment of Associate Provider upon providing notice that Associate Provider is incapable of performing the duties of the position, commits acts of professional negligence, is absent from the position without Client's permission during scheduled times, is insubordinate, engages in substance abuse, violates Client's applicable rules or regulations or Client's policies or procedures, or engages in other unprofessional conduct or breach or neglect of duty. Client will make available copies of all non-privileged documentation about problems or incidents in which Associate Providers are involved. In the event Client or AMN wishes to terminate an Associate Provider's assignment for reasons other than those listed above, AMN will provide written notice as set forth below: (i) For Travel Associate Providers – Fifteen (15) days written notice of cancellation to be provided by AMN to Supplier within one business day of receipt from Client. Should Client be unable to provide such cancellation notice, upon payment from Client, AMN agrees to pay a cancellation fee of fifteen (15) days of guaranteed minimum hours at the Travel Associate Provider's applicable confirmed hourly billing rate. (ii) For Local Contract Associate Providers - Seven (7) days written notice once a confirmation has been sent by AMN and Associate Provider has been booked to start, or once Associate Provider has actually begun their assignment. Should Client be unable to provide such cancellation notice, upon payment from Client, AMN agrees to pay a cancellation fee of one (1) week of guaranteed minimum hours at the Local Contract Associate Provider applicable confirmed hourly billing rate.
