Our partner is looking for an Occupational Health Director based in United States.This role provides strategic leadership and enterprise-wide oversight for a comprehensive Occupational Health service line. You'll shape the vision, governance, clinical standards, and performance expectations that support workforce health and safety. The position combines clinical quality, operational leadership, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and client satisfaction. You'll develop scalable programs that integrate with primary care while helping employers improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare and productivity costs. The role works closely with senior leaders, clinical teams, clients, business development partners, and external stakeholders. You'll lead service-line growth, workforce planning, quality improvement, measurement, training, and continuous operational enhancement. This is a remote leadership opportunity for an experienced healthcare operator who can translate strategy into measurable results.Accountabilities:Provide strategic leadership and enterprise-wide oversight for the Occupational Health service line, including strategy, program design, service delivery, growth, quality, and operational performance.Partner with the Occupational Health Medical Director to establish and maintain clinical standards, workflows, quality expectations, competencies, and training requirements.Represent the Occupational Health function with internal stakeholders as well as clients and prospective customers, serving as a trusted strategic advisor.Lead the development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of Occupational Health programs and services.Ensure clinical operations comply with applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including Workers' Compensation laws, OSHA regulations and safety standards, Department of Transportation requirements, CDC guidance, and other relevant occupational health regulations.Develop and maintain standardized policies, procedures, workflows, and practice guidelines to support consistent, high-quality service delivery.Establish priorities for service-line growth and enhancement using client needs, performance data, research, and industry trends, and lead the launch of new programs, services, clients, and locations as appropriate.Establish performance measures and oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting across clinical, operational, financial, and client-value dimensions.Develop and manage service-line plans designed to achieve business, quality, client satisfaction, return-on-investment, and contribution-margin objectives.Lead workforce planning and people strategies, including staffing models, performance expectations, employee development, succession planning, and resource allocation.Oversee onboarding, education, competency validation, and ongoing training for employees supporting Occupational Health services.Support business development activities, including RFP responses, client presentations, and report-outs.Build strong client relationships by understanding objectives, delivering on commitments, resolving service concerns, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Champion quality improvement, innovation, change management, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen outcomes across the populations served.RequirementsBachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field required; a master's degree is preferred.If licensed as a nurse, graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current, valid nursing license in the applicable state or through compact-state licensure are required.Minimum 3 years of experience in an Occupational Health or Employee Health environment.Minimum 5 years of operational leadership experience, preferably within Occupational Health.Experience leading teams with multiple direct and indirect reports, including employees working remotely.Demonstrated experience with quality improvement methodologies and healthcare operations, including staffing, performance metrics, EMRs, competencies, and regulatory requirements.COHN or COHN-S certification is highly preferred;
