Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 44 Number of Staff: 95 Type of Staff: Day Shift Grid: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC Night Shift Grid: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC Patient Ratios: 4/1 at grid, 5/1 stretched Type of Equipment: IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, Chest tubes, Trachs, Patient lifts EMR: Cerner Typical Hiring Profile: Most recruited for: Neuro and Trauma Care experience. Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with Neuro and Trauma Care experience will be considered first. List of Typical Procedures Performed: Neuro and spinal checks. C-Collar placement, TLSO braces. Chest tubes, PCA pump, IV infusions. Lumbar drain. Feeding tube placement. Blood transfusion. Best Personality Fit: Team player. Patient-focused. Floating Areas: Stepdown units, Med-surg units. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire: Navy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please follow unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On Call: Every other weekend.
