Responsibilities Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, and safety. Perform radiographic examinations. Check equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis and maintain the required stock for each radiography room. Develop and evaluate film for technical quality. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Transport patients to and from radiographic rooms (and ER as needed) and prepare and maintain rooms. Enhance professional growth through participation in educational programs, current literature, in‑service meetings and workshops. Attend meetings as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Radiography Technician certification (NM license, RRT or Temp NM Radiography Tech). BLS Certification required at the time of hire. Associate degree in radiography preferred; associate degree may be obtained within 1 year of hire for ARRT certification. Employee will have 1 year to obtain ARRT certification.
