PSC Phlebotomist

Work schedule: Monday‑Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm (1‑hour lunch), Friday 8:00am – 2:30pm; travel to additional sites as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or ≥3 months of phlebotomy experience. Proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination or eligible medical/religious accommodation. Preferred Qualifications ≥1 year of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency. Proven record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime when necessary. Ability to pass a standard color‑blindness test. Additional Job Standards If lacking work experience, phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency.
