Number of Beds - 7
Number of Staff – 3 minimum
Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech
o Night Shift - 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech
Patient Ratios – we follow AWHONN acuity staffing ratios
Type of equipment – Client, Centricity Perinatal
EMR - EPIC
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: LDRP
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· 1 year LD experience and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification required.
· Labor triage experience- QMP
· OR circulator experience (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair, etc.)
· Newborn resuscitation (attending delivery for low-risk newborns)
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
IUPC/FSE Placement
Assist with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Induction of labor, vaginal delivery, c-sections, tubal ligation, labor triage, antepartum, d&c, vaginal repair, NST, IUFD, steroid injections (BMZ), external cephalic version.

Floating Area(s):
With low census- may float as PCT (patient care tech) as needed

Scheduled as needed to fill unit needs. Call not required, but available.
