Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with PICU and NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at a children's hospital in Oregon.

Details

• Inpatient acute care children's hospital setting providing full spectrum of respiratory therapy services
• PICU and NICU patient population
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current RRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5–2 years of experience in PICU and NICU settings required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active Oregon (OR) license required if applicable
• COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required; charge nurse references are not acceptable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction
• Candidates who are former employees of or previous travelers at this facility must have a reference completed by the manager who supervised them at that facility
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks
