Turkeyfoot Family Pet Center is Hiring an RVT or Experienced Veterinary Technician! Position Details Role: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Technician. Status: Full-time (32–40 hours per week based on your preference). Salary: Negotiable based on experience and credentials. What You'll Do Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed. Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and laboratory sample collection. Obtain high‑quality digital radiographs. Run in‑house laboratory diagnostics (CBCs, chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology). Assist with surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery. Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring throughout hospitalization. Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions. Collaborate closely with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient care. What You'll Bring Registered Veterinary Technician credential or relevant experience. Strong technical skills (venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, patient nursing). Experience with digital radiography and diagnostic sample collection. Emergency and surgical nursing experience. Professional, compassionate communication with clients and teammates. Collaborative, team‑first mindset.
