Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a focus on providing exceptional patient care within the interventional radiology unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.

Requirements

• Must have applicable interventional radiology experience.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ARRT (VI) technologist certification or Cardiovascular Technologist certification preferred.
• ARRT (R) IR Technologist with scrub experience may also be considered.
• Ability to work rotating on-call shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Work Environment

This position is based in a short-term acute care facility dedicated to providing a high level of trauma care and educational opportunities.
