Role Overview We are seeking an accomplished Technical Business Analyst to join our team in supporting multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as You will have direct impact on highly visible web applications that touch millions of users. This position is located in Arlington, VA and offers a schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Responsibilities Understand the CoStar business, the goals of our products, and how we fit into the commercial real estate industry. Articulate the product team’s vision to the development team, effectively translating it into artifacts such as User Stories, and turning extremely complex business rules into succinct, clear specifications and acceptance criteria. Maintain direct channels of communication with software developers, management, and Product Design to accomplish team goals. Hold regular stakeholder/grooming meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress. Document user requirements and business rules to be used in application development. Understand End‑To‑End test cases at the application and multi‑application levels. Work directly with QA Staff to ensure comprehensive testing for all areas and provide input as to how to test new features. Respond to issues that are raised by internal and external groups. Analyze application and usage data to understand our products and our customers. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit, in‑person university or college. Track record of commitment to prior employers. 3+ years of Product, Systems, or Business analysis experience. Highly self‑directed and capable of driving outcomes with very little supervision. Document detailed product requirements for multiple development teams. Document requirements for API work a plus. Agile/Scrum experience is required. Basic SQL database knowledge. 2+ years of Product Owner experience. Advanced Excel knowledge. Experience with process/architecture diagram tools like Visio. Experience with Agile Development process. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Eligible to work full‑time in the United States.
