Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Stepdown/PCU/IMC experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system
• Must be able to pass facility-administered pass/fail competency testing on the first day of orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a large, high-volume acute care facility
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a progressive care environment
