Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-time, Part-time, and Per Diem Positions Available Join our dynamic care team at Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, an esteemed facility committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Full-time and part-time openings on 11p-7a, including an every other weekend rotation. Per diem available on all shifts. Weekly pay ranging from $21 to $26 an hour, depending on shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends come with shift differentials. Experience & Education: Must have an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts or be in the process of obtaining one New graduates welcome Duties & Responsibilities: Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under your care Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them Document accurately and completely Meet personal grooming needs for each resident Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner Maintain accurate methods of identification for residents Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job description Other duties assigned by manager Specific Requirements: Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilize appropriately Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices Must be able to communicate effectively with appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations What we offer: Competitive and Weekly Pay Holiday Pay for Hourly and Salaried Employees Overtime Pay for Hourly Employees Career Advancement Opportunities Exclusive Employer Discount Program Available for Eligible Team Members: Employer-Paid Life Insurance 401(k) with Employer Match Vacation and Personal Time Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
