Loom Maintenance Technician -Apprentice

Overview Join to apply for the Loom Maintenance Technician - Apprentice role at JPS Composite Materials . Responsibilities Maintain and service an assigned set of looms, following safety protocols. Perform tasks including flag fixing, blowing off reeds, setting up TPM looms, setting doffs, aligning nozzles, and starting new warps/tie backs. Keep looms in production and use troubleshooting methods to maintain quality. Lubricate loom parts on a regular basis. Maintain loom specifications and verification of controlled SOC on looms. Cover sand drums and rollers, change cutter blades, and input/receive data from Barco. Activate warp changes with Barco interactive warp entry and monitor the high loom stop program. Write requisitions for loom parts and issue work orders for electricians. Assist weavers so they can take breaks. Maintain all records according to ISO standards.
