About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). This role focuses on caring for critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and post-surgical cardiac conditions.

This is a brand-new pediatric CICU program offering extensive specialized training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for pediatric CICU patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families throughout care

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Associate Degree required; BSN required within 24 months of hire
• Minimum 1 year recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care setting
• Pediatric cardiac ICU or post-op cardiac experience preferred
• Children’s Hospital experience preferred
• BCLS required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• PALS required within 6 months of hire
• CCRN preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $42.03 – $65.10/hour (based on experience)
• Sign-on bonus available (case-by-case)
• Relocation assistance available (case-by-case)
