As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat09:30 AM - 06:30 PMSun11:30 AM - 06:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site policies. Communicate professionally with government personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while following applicable post orders and Allied Universal procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
