Maintenance Custodian Associate

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. Who We’re Looking For You thrive in fast‑paced environments You take pride in your work You’re comfortable with change and quickly adapt to different work scenarios You keep member satisfaction as your top priority You can work an entire shift on your feet and in physically demanding environments What You’ll Do Ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary Ensuring customers have a great first and last impression Maintaining a positive attitude Responsibilities Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handling hazardous materials, steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations. Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store them properly, and place orders to replenish when low. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
