Apartment Maintenance Technician – Houston, TX

Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician Needed – Houston, TX

Certified Apartment Staffing is looking for an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a busy multifamily community in Houston.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on maintenance professional who understands apartment maintenance, can troubleshoot problems independently, and takes pride in keeping the property running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready work
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Maintain vacant units, common areas, and property equipment
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional property environment

Requirements

• Previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience REQUIRED
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general apartment repairs
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple work orders
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Certifications

Certifications are NOT required, but are a PLUS!

EPA, HVAC, CPO, or other relevant maintenance certifications are highly valued.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and doesn’t need extensive training. If you have solid multifamily maintenance experience, know how to troubleshoot common apartment issues, and are dependable, we want to hear from you!
