Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Registered Nurse - Perinatal Specialty Schedule\n Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Job Description\n The Registered Nurse in the Perinatal specialty provides comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating accountability and professional practice. The nurse will deliver routine and complex care, engage in long-range planning, and manage clinical situations appropriately. Responsibilities\n \n Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. \n Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. \n Administer medications and treatments per established protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness. \n Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given meticulously. \n Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers. \n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. \n Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. \n Current RN License in the state of Texas or compact required. \n Current certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), NRP, ACLS, and BLS (AHA only). \n Completion of New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. \n Recent experience in a perinatal setting preferred. \n Why ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
