Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty in Surgery Location: Not specified. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a short-term acute care facility. The role requires managing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid RN license with at least 1 year of relevant experience in operating room nursing. Must possess current certifications applicable to perioperative care.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Provides perioperative nursing care for various surgical procedures, collaborates with surgical teams, prepares operating rooms, and ensures compliance with safety and sterilization protocols.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses to prior employment at a Providence facility, references covering 1 year (or 6 months if CNA), and confirmation of necessary state licenses, including compact license if applicable. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility.
• Experience requirement: Minimum of 1 year required.
• Travel and Scheduling Notes: Must be willing to work at least 3 out of the 5 designated holidays. All scheduling requests should be submitted during initial application; late requests may not be considered.
