Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans that align with client needs and goals.
- Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay current on mental health trends, interventions, and therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and cohesive care for clients, ensuring all aspects of a client’s wellbeing are addressed.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals and families dealing with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. This role aims to provide support to these individuals by utilizing a person-centered approach that respects their unique circumstances and backgrounds, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
- At least two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting with a focus on evidence-based practice.
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical considerations in clinical practice.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with a wide range of clients.
Preferred Experience
- Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-focused therapy.
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations and incorporating cultural competency into therapeutic practice.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 annually, supplemented by a generous performance-based bonus structure.
