Allergist Physician

Physician Allergy & Immunology Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time physician specializing in Allergy & Immunology to provide coverage for our established outpatient clinics in Merced and Los Banos, California.

The physician will provide direct patient care while also serving as an important clinical resource for our Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team. We are looking for a collaborative physician who is committed to providing high-quality allergy, asthma, and immunology care to patients in California's Central Valley.

Business Hours

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic conditions.
• Provide physician coverage for the Merced and Los Banos clinics.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for new and established patients.
• Oversee and manage allergy immunotherapy and other allergy-related treatments as appropriate.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality patient care.
• Review and address complex clinical cases when physician involvement is required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Follow established clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and standards of care.
• Participate in the continued development and improvement of allergy and immunology services within the practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology preferred.
• Eligible for or currently holding an active California medical license.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellent patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other clinical staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
